Nordic Nutrition Congress 2016

Milk - friend or foe? A scientific discussion on milk, dairy products and health

Symposium arranged by LRF Mjölk (Sweden), Opplysningskontoret for Meieriprodukter (Norway) and Mejeriforeningen (Denmark)

Time: 5.00-7.00 pm

Conference venue: Svenska Mässan, conference room F2

Light refreshments will be served before the symposium.

Milk and dairy products are traditional parts of the Nordic diet and contribute significantly to the nutrient intake. Consumption of milk and dairy products have been related to decreased risk of for example stroke, hypertension and diabetes type 2, while the associations to other health outcomes still remain to be elucidated. At this symposium three excellent speakers will present the latest science on milk, dairy products and health, followed by a scientific panel discussion. The symposium aims to conclude the current knowledge and identify future research needs.
